Onofrio "Fred" Tudisco

With deep sorrow we announce the passing of our dear husband and loving father on Sunday, January 26, 2014 at Cambridge Memorial Hospital in his 85th year. Beloved husband of Francesca for 58 years. Loving father of Peter, Grace (Duarte) Ribeiro, and Anthony (Debbie). Proud Nonno of Marc (Melanie), David (Emily), and Alexander; Michael and Christopher; Brianne, Chloe, and Aliya. Survived by sister Rosa Gentile and sister-in-law Grazia Tudisco, and brothers Alfonso (Maria), Stefano (Giorgetta), Joe (Louise). Predeceased by brother Vincenzo. Fred leaves to mourn his loss several nieces and nephews and many other relatives in Canada and Italy. As founder of Buon Vino Manufacturing, Fred was well known for his involvement in the Cambridge community. Friends and family will be received at T. LITTLE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE (519-623-1290), 223 Main Street, Cambridge on Wednesday, January 29, 2014 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Rosary at 8 p.m. Respects may also be paid Thursday morning from 9 – 10 a.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Ambrose Church, 210 South Street, Cambridge on Thursday, January 30, 2014 at 11 a.m. The family would like to extend their deepest thanks to the 3rd and 4th floor nurses of Cambridge Memorial Hospital for their devoted care to our father during his stay; special thanks to Christina Lahey and Brittney Kurtz. Donations in memory of Onofrio to the Alzheimer’s Association or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
