

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce Ray’s passing on Monday, March 20th, 2017 at Brantford General Hospital in his 71st year. He is the beloved husband to Belle of 24 wonderful years, loving father to Ray Jr., Rodney and Hope, dear brother to Loretta and Leo Montag of Elmwood, Isabelle and John Gannon of Calgary Alberta, Joe and Bonnie Grubb of Wingham, Harold Grubb and Philip Grubb also of Calgary Alberta, brother-in-law to Sharon Grubb and Harold Carter and special uncle to Jackie and John. He is predeceased by his parents Leo and Gertrude Grubb, son Leo Stephen Grubb, siblings: Angeline and Donald Diemert, Hilda and George Elder, William Grubb, Robert Grubb, James Grubb, John and Dale Grubb and Barbara (nee Grubb) Carter. He will be missed and forever remembered by his extended family in the Philippines. Ray worked as a farmer for many years along with being a press operator for Budd Automotive, he enjoyed woodworking when he had the time and he will be missed and remembered for his wonderful sense of humour. In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place and a Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, April 1st, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Parish, 181 King Street, Burford. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to Blessed Sacrament Parish in Ray’s memory.
