

Peacefully at Cambridge Memorial Hospital on Friday October 28th in his 85th year. Robert (Bob) and Laura (nee Hofstetter) would have celebrated their 53rd Wedding Anniversary on November 15th. Survived by his beloved wife Laura, daughter Lauralee (Paul) Cressman, son Robert (Charlene) Deans and granddaughters Jessica, Sarah, and Leah Deans. Lovingly remembered by the Purkis, Otto and Hofstetter families. Predeceased by his father Robert E. Deans mother Roberta W. Deans (nee Brown), infant daughter Roberta and sister Helen (LaVerne) Otto. Bob was born and farmed for many years in North Dumfries Twp. Later was employed in construction and maintenance at Genesco Shoe. He was a lifelong member and former elder (for 25 years) of Central Presbyterian Church Cambridge. Many thanks for the care Bob received from Red Cross Homecare and doctors and staff at Cambridge Memorial. Family and friends may call at the T. LITTLE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 223 Main Street, Cambridge 519-623-1290 on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm where a service will be held in the Chapel on Monday morning October 31, 2011 at 11 am. Interment Cedar Creek Cemetery. Donations to Alzheimers Society or Central Presbyterian Church Roof Fund would be appreciated.
