Bob was predeceased by his beloved wife, Thelma Ellen Krull, and by his father, Robert Alexander Krull.
He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Robert J Krull and Lisa Kuzyk (Dana Kuzyk); his cherished grandson, Cole Besser; his loving mother, Christine Krull; his siblings, James Krull (Natalie Krull) and Lynda Stelmach (Terry Stelmach); and his nieces, Shae-Lynn Stelmach and Kaitlin Stelmach. He will also be fondly remembered by extended family, friends, neighbours, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Bob’s career reflected his strong work ethic and willingness to embrace new opportunities. After many successful years managing KMart stores throughout Ontario and the Prairies, he made Winnipeg his home. There, he proudly owned and operated a Mr. Sub franchise for 14 years before concluding his working career with Winnipeg Transit, where he remained until his retirement.
A lifelong sports enthusiast, Bob enjoyed playing softball in his younger years and was a talented hockey goaltender, proudly following in the footsteps of his father, who had played junior hockey. He also loved spending time on the golf course and was a devoted supporter of Winnipeg’s CFL and NHL teams.
Although quiet by nature, Bob possessed a wonderfully competitive spirit, especially during family games of Monopoly, where he always played to win. He found great satisfaction in working around his home on DIY projects, caring for his yard, and creating a backyard he was proud of. His happiest moments were often the simple ones spent with family, enjoying the comforts of home and the people he loved most.
Bob will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his strong work ethic, his dry sense of humour, and the many memories he leaves behind. His love and presence will be deeply missed and forever cherished by all who knew him.
