We have just learned of the passing of Ron.
Susan and I wish to send our deepest condolences. We know this is a difficult time for all, both of us are saddened and reflect on the past years with Ron, his sense of humor, his giving nature and hard working energy. We will miss him.

I just learned of your Father's passing.  I have so many good memories of Ron as well as your lovely mother.  My thoughts are with both of you.

Ron was a great brother, a hard worker and someone who was always very generous.  When growing up a tradition in our family was that we got to pick our Birthday dinner. Ron would pick Moms famous homemade spaghetti and meatballs followed by Angel food cake with pink frosting. I was thrilled as it was my favourite as well.  
His real drive in life was his true love Cathy. A youthful romance that never missed a beat, they were sole mates. A new journey for the two of them with the arrival of Tyler & Sarah. Their family was complete and he cherished the children everyday. He would be the coach in the stands bragging of the miraculous save Tyler made in goal, or was just in awe at Sarah's paintings at an Art Show. Ron's life revolved around his 3 loves - Cathy, Tyler & Sarah.

Ron had a heart of gold always treated others and your family you adored.  I will always remember the amazing times at the Hertz household - tons of fun, friends and family.  I will always cherish Ron as he sure was a very special man in our world.  Love you Ron Hertz now just enjoy your reuniting with my best friend Cathy.  I will always appreciate your spirit  and will always love you.

Lots and lots of memories (some great and others well we choose to just laughed about)- from University days, to Bala, to night time boat rides,to silly card games, to  painfull saunas,to 5:00am line-ups to play golf, to great weddings, and to families. Much to treasure and much to remember - in both Ron and Cathy.

Ron was the "cool older cousin" and when he come over we always new we were in for fun and treats! I love thinking back to having sleepovers in the city at Ron and Cathy's. Staying up late watching scary movies..all great memories. Although the passing of Ron is very sad, I know Cathy and him are back together which is a wonderful thought... RIP Ron.

Clara and I are so saddened to hear about Ron's passing.  We had many years of fun growing up in our youth and Ron and Cathy were amazing, great friends.  Since Cathy left us, Ron was never the same.  It broke our hearts to see how he was and we did everything we could to keep his spirits up.  He will be missed dearly by all of us and we pray that he is now with the love of his life.  Our hearts go out to Sarah and Tyler, may you find the strength to carry on and make your Mom and Dad proud.                                                       Love Paul, Clara and family.
