It is with great sadness that we announce Wendy’s sudden passing after a lengthy illness at Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital on Saturday, September 10th, 2016. Wendy passed peacefully with family at her side at the age of 63. Loving wife to Rolf Sommer of 26 wonderful years together, dear mother to John Thomas Lichty and Eric Walter Sommer. Predeceased by her parents Harold “Bud” and Grace Dawn Gray. Wendy will be lovingly remembered by her extended family and friends. Wendy had a keen interest for crafting, gardening and decorating. She adored her Siamese cats and was even a successful breeder in the past. In keeping with Wendy’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, September 14th, 2016 at 7pm with visitation beginning at 5pm at Coutts Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrews Street, Cambridge (519-621-1650).
