William "Bill" Lawrence Sherritt

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of William “Bill” Sherritt, who passed away peacefully on June 14, 2026, in Cambridge, Ontario, with his loved ones by his side. He was 75 years old.

Born on October 2, 1950, in London, Ontario, Bill was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Janet Sherritt (née Mitchell), with whom he shared many years of love, laughter, and companionship.

Bill was a proud and caring father to Allison (Ed), Melanie (Cory), Jamie (Chris), and Katie (Beum). He was also a cherished grandfather to six grandchildren, who brought him immense joy and pride throughout his life.

He is survived by his brother, Bob (Bernadette), along with many extended family members and friends who will remember him for his kindness, sense of humour, and the positive impact he had on those around him.

Bill was predeceased by his parents, Larry and Helen Sherritt.

The family would like to thank everyone for their love, support, and condolences during this difficult time.

A celebration of Bill’s life will be held at a later date. Details will be shared with family and friends when arrangements have been finalized.

Though he is no longer with us, Bill’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
