He was born on May 19, 1943 in Sunbury, to the late Emerson and Violet (McKinney) Pope.
Dale worked as a carpenter / builder for many years prior to becoming employed as a maintenance foreman at New Cumberland Army Depot where he retired. He served with the US Army in Vietnam and was a recipient of a purple heart. Dale was a member of the Masonic Lodge #22/ consistory, Williamsport/ Tall Cedars.
He loved riding his motorcycle on road trips all over the US. He was also a devout member with the Lisburn Church of God.
Surviving Dale is his loving wife Pat; sons, Randy and Ed (Andrea); daughter, Kim (Scott) Miller; step-son Michael; sister, Annetta Kline; 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
A viewing will be held from 10:00-11:00am on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at Neill Funeral Home; 3401 Market Street, Camp Hill, PA 17011. A funeral service will follow at 11:00am. A burial will take place in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA on Friday January 20, 2023 at 2:00pm with a motorcycle procession from the funeral home to the cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital or to the Lisburn Church of God; 1621 Main St, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055, in Dales name.
