Delores J. Culver, 88, of Mechanicsburg, passed away Thursday, June 13, 2019 at West Shore Hospital. She was born December 12, 1930 in Chambersburg, daughter of the late Edward and Edna (Knode) Culver. Prior to retirement, she was a Registered Nurse and Nurse Anesthetist, employed most of her career at Holy Spirit Hospital. She was a 1961 graduate of Germantown Hospital School of Nursing and considered her education to be her greatest accomplishment. She lived with and was the caregiver for both of her parents, who she loved dearly, until their deaths. She enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephews, cooking, traveling, swimming, gardening, her cars including her classic 1950s Chevy and her Chevy Monte Carlo, watching and feeding the wild life roaming her backyard, home remodeling including building a recreation room and bar in her basement and was always a faithful member of her local Catholic church wherever she lived. Surviving are her sister, Caroline A. (Culver) Shopp of Tucson, AZ, her nine nieces and nephews, 17 great-nieces and nephews and 8 great-great nieces and nephews. Memorial Service will be 10:30am Friday, June 21, 2019 at Neill Funeral Home, 3401 Market St. Camp Hill. Burial will be in Rolling Green Memorial Park, 1811 Carlisle Road, Camp Hill.
