He was born September 28, 1953 in Mechanicsburg, son of Donald and Maxine (Pease) Rhoads.
Doug was a graduate of Cumberland Valley High School class of 1972. Prior to retirement he was a mechanic and supervisor for Pennsylvania State Police Department, with 41 years of service.
Doug enjoyed spending Saturday nights at the Silver Spring Race Track he also enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his mother, Maxine L. Rhoads, of Mechanicsburg, son, David E. Rhoads, his wife, Tamika, of Abington, sister, Donna Ebersole, her husband, Timothy, of Mechanicsburg, grandchildren; Darren, Michayla, Rhianna, Angel and nephews, Jonathan and James Ebersole.
Funeral service will be 12:00 Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at Neill Funeral Home, Camp Hill, with viewing from 11:00 till time of service. Interment Rolling Green Memorial Park, Camp Hill.
