He was born in New York City, February 3, 1916, son of the late Edward and Helen Beyer Sr.
Prior to retirement he was Department Supervisor with Selective Insurance Company of American for 40 years.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Marion M. Beyer, of Carlisle, cousins, Patrick and Paula Purcell and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service was Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at Chapel Pointe, Carlisle, PA. Entombment was in Rolling Green Memorial Park, Camp Hill, PA.
