Dear Butie,
I remember you from West Shore Veterinary Clinic when I would bring in my parrot Pretty Bird to see Dr. Jennings. I got the message of your mother's passing from my pastor at Grace Bible Chapel. Only God can understand the pain of losing your mother. Right now, He's by your side holding you in his love. My own mother passed just last year on July 30 and at that time it didn't seem possible, but I can tell you it will slowly get better with time. Please accept my condolences for yourself and your family.

The Esther we knew was a caring soul who trusted the Lord. She enjoyed making crafts. I remember one year she shared many ideas and supplies for us to use in Bible school. She had a big heart and was like a grandmother to my children. She will always have a place in our hearts. We've been blessed to have known her.

Rae, I was saddened to read of your mother's passing. She was always so kind to us at Woolworth's and at the apartment. May your memories and the love in your heart keep her always near.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your families in this difficult time. Ester and Ray were my neighbors growing up, we lived "down over the hill". We had gone on bus trips together. I will miss her! May all your memories fill you with laughter.

One special lady. Everyone in the office looked forward to seeing your mom and what goodies she would bring. It was a real pleasure helping her and your dad for so many years. Some people are special and she is. My deepest sympathy.

I am one of the fortunate ones who had the pleasure of having Esther be part of my life.

It was November of 1969.  I was sixteen years old and living on my own.  My previous job had ended and I needed to find work - the rent was coming due and the food was running out.  Esther hired me, at Woolworth's, as a cook.  I worked with Esther, off and on, for the next four years and always enjoyed our interactions.  

May the Lord welcome her with open arms.

Marie, now your mother gets to be with Jesus, and she would not come back to "this world" for anything!  I am sure you will miss her, thank God the day will come when you will reunite with her, and all those you have loved here on earth. Blessings and love, Kathy and Lee Ammerman

I am so sorry to hear of your mother's passing.  There are no words to make the pain go away, but know as you look around you there are lots of people who care and are there for you.  I remember the fun times!  RIP Esther!!
