Everett, fondly known as Ev, was born on March 23, 1957 in Wiesbaden, Germany. Ev traveled to the states with his parents, Robert and Ingrid Hirsch, and baby sister when he was just three years old. Ev was raised in a close-knit family primarily in Lykens, PA. During his youth, the family moved to California for a couple of years, and it was during this time that he found his love for living out west. He spent his remaining teenage years living back in PA with his family. However, shortly after his high school graduation, he ventured out west exploring all that life had to offer where he carried out the majority of his adult years in Las Vegas, NV. No matter the distance, Ev always made time for family and friends.
Ev is survived by his daughter, Nicole Paoletti, granddaughter, Angelina Paoletti, and mother, Ingrid Hirsch. He is also survived by his siblings, his sister, Patricia Hirsch, and brothers, Robert Hirsch and David Hirsch and wife, Linda. He is also survived by a loving and large extended family, which includes aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Ev was preceded in death by his father, Robert Hirsch.
Ev was the life of any and every party. He was far from ordinary, rarely quiet, unfiltered, and never conformed to societal norms. His thirst for living his life to the fullest was seen through his adventurous spirit and breathtaking humor. If there was an opportunity to experience something new, travel or go to an event, Ev was first in line, as he had no fear or reservation. He also willingly shared his humor every moment he could; on stage, amid a road trip, or any place in between, his uncensored jokes and the laughter shared gave all who knew him everlasting memories.
Ev had an appreciation for the arts, especially films, literature, and music. He had an eclectic taste, never prescribing to a particular genre. He was an avid reader, which is probably how he knew everything about everything, enjoyed watching new and old films in the movie theatres, and attended countless concerts. Across the arts, works only fell on his list of favorites if they were loud, bold and had depth. He too was an artist, and he was passionate about his work. His work included writing a novel and many short stories, acting, and producing films.
Ev enjoyed the outdoors and wildlife from the ocean, desert, lakes, mountains, and the valleys between any time of year, except of course for the winters in PA. He found harmony near water from dock and lake fishing to being in the wide-open sea on an Alaskan cruise ship.
Ev enjoyed sports, especially football and baseball, and his teams were the Cleveland Browns, Ohio State and the Cleveland Indians. Football season was the most predictable time of year when you truly knew what Ev was up to. Ev was definitely on the Cleveland Browns team roster as their number one fan, never missing a game and seeing them through season after season.
