Flora Margaret Caparella

Born on May 29, 1923, in Wormleysburg, PA to the late Eustachio and Liberata (DiMascio) Pinti.

She is preceded in death by six siblings; Dominick, Gino, Anthony, Victor, Rosa and Eleana Pinti.

Surviving Flora is her loving husband of 77 years, William A. Caparella; daughters, Victoria Caparella, of Mechanicsburg, Cathy Hoffman, of Dillsburg, and Patricia Nagel, of Colorado; four grandchildren, Jennifer Wherley Morris, of Oklahoma, William Wherley, of Oregon, Maya Nagel and Gemma Nagel, of Colorado, and four great grandchildren, Logan and Adam Morries, Maddox and Quintin Wherley.

She graduated from Lemoyne High School. During her working career, she worked at the Mechanicsburg Naval Depot, General Foods and the Pennsylvania Blue Shield. Flora enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, and crocheting.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 from 10:00-11:00am at Good Shepherd Catholic Church; 3435 E Trindle Road, Camp Hill, PA 17011. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00am with a luncheon to follow in the church’s reception hall. Burial will take place at 11:00am on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery; Annville, PA 17003.
