Gertrude W Weldon

She was born March 14, 1916, in Summerdale, PA, the daughter of the late Rudolph and Alda Wingert. She was the widow of N. Lester Weldon, who passed away in 2001.

Gertrude was a retired secretary, having worked at the Department of Agriculture in Washington, D.C., and later at the Mechanicsburg Navy Depot.

She attended the Camp Hill United Methodist Church, and more recently, Bible Baptist Church in Shiremanstown. She lived out her Christian faith on a daily basis.

She leaves behind 3 children: Judi Spessler (Barrie) of Mechanicsburg, Lori Wiedman (George) of Shiremanstown, and Don Weldon (Vicky) of Camp Hill. Also missing her dearly are 3 grandchildren: Erik Wiedman (Christy), Beth Miller (Curt), and Ben Spessler (Lisa). She felt blessed to have 9 great grandchildren: Noah, Taylor, Grace, Emma, Jordan, Matthew, Gabriel, Andrew, and Hope.

A funeral service will be held in Neill Funeral Home, 3401 Market Street, Camp Hill, Saturday, June 16, at 1:00 pm. A viewing will precede from noon until 1:00 pm. Burial will be in Dellville Cemetery, Duncannon.
