Mary Senos Travis, 76, of Mechanicsburg, reposed Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at Geisinger Holy Spirit. She was born July 30, 1941, in Detroit, MI; she was the daughter of the late Nick and Sophia (Goumas) Coustos; she was preceded in death by her first husband, John J. Senos. She is survived by her husband, Peter E. Travis; son, Jimmy J. Senos, (Helen), of Mechanicsburg; daughter, Matina Nalley, (Sam), of Sarasota, FL; 7 grandchildren, Nick, Matthew, Sophia, Mary, John, Toni and Gus; brother, Peter Coutsos, (Theodora); sister, Chrystina Demopoulos, both of Michigan; sister-in-law, Alice Collis, (Gus),of Louisville, KY; nephew, Nick Coutsos; and 3 nieces, Mary Grabowski, Cheri White and Marilyn Sexton. Mary was a retired school teacher from Bethesda and Kensington, MD. She was a member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral and a longtime member of St. Sophia Greek Orthodox Cathedral, Washington DC, Ladies Philoptochos Society and the Daughters of Penelope. Mary was faithful, loving, giving, a friend to all, and she will be missed dearly. Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, June 30, 2018 at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 1000 Yverdon Dr., Camp Hill. Burial will be in East Harrisburg Cemetery. A viewing will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, June 29, 2018 at the Neill Funeral Home, 3401 Market St., Camp Hill and also 10:30 AM Saturday until the time of the service at the Cathedral. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mary’s name for the Icon Restoration Project, Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 1000 Yverdon Dr., Camp Hill, PA 17011.
