Norman E. Foster

Norman E. Foster, 64, of Mechanicsburg, passed away Tuesday, August 4, 2015 after a courageous battle with brain cancer. He was born February 26, 1951 in Milford, CT, son of the late William Foster and Alice Savard. Norm was a proud graduate of Gettysburg College, Class of 1973. He was previously employed as Chief of Mortuary Services at Hershey Medical Center and currently employed in the Public Works Department of the Borough of Camp Hill. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Marguerite “Elaine” Foster; his two daughters Stephanie and Christine; and his brother William. Norm was known for his contagious smile, compassionate heart, and unconditional love for his family. Memorial Service will be conducted at Mount Calvary Episcopal Church, 125 North 25th Street, Camp Hill, PA, on Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at 3:00PM. At the family’s request, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Jake Gittlen Laboratories for Cancer Research, Penn State College of Medicine, 500 University Drive, Gittlen H059, Hershey, PA 17033.
