He was born March 12, 1929 in Duncannon and was the son of the late George W. and Frances (Wardecker) Pratt. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joanne Pratt in 2013; brother, Franklin Pratt and sister, Jeanette Nicholas.
Surviving are his daughter, Roberta Imel (Brian) of Granger, IN; son, Ronald Pratt, of Northumberland; and stepdaughter, Rosalind Watt, of Harrisburg; 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; and a brother, Donald Pratt.
Robert was a U.S. Navy veteran who served his country from 1947 – 1960. He retired from American Tank and Culvert Co. in 1984. During retirement, he drove cars for Auto Sun Roof of Mechanicsburg until December 2016.
He was a life member of Middletown Loyal Order of Moose 410 and Pennsylvania Moose Association where he was awarded his Pilgrim Degree and was a Past President. He was also a life member of VFW Post 7530 Lower Allen Township, Disabled American Veterans Chapter 21, and Linglestown American Legion Post 272.
Viewing will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 31 at Neill Funeral Home, 3401 Market St, Camp Hill with the Loyal Order of Moose Pilgrim ceremony at 5:45 p.m. Funeral service will be on Friday, February 1 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be held in Rolling Green Cemetery with full military honors.
