Susan Elizabeth Hanes

Susan E. Hanes, 60, of Mechanicsburg, passed away Wednesday, May 5, 2021, at Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill, Pennsylvania. Born May 9, 1960, in Harrisburg, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Mary (Gibbons) Risser, and was preceded in death by her brother, John Risser. Surviving is her husband of 41 years, Charles G. Hanes III; two daughters, Erika T. Hanes and Amanda E. Hanes; son, C. Grant Hanes IV; grandson, Braden Green; six sisters, Kathy Holder, Patty Close, Janice Breon, Beverly Derrick, Debbie Pavone and Judy Alexander. Susan retired from Scotts Miracle Grow Co. A Private Memorial Service will be held at the convenience of the family.
