Vasiliki N. Meklis, 88, of York, passed away Tuesday, October 15, 2019, in York Memorial Hospital.

Born June 7, 1931, in Tgiva, Tegeas, Greece, she was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Georgia (Theodoropoulos) Gekas.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Constantine(Gus) Meklis; a son, Spiros Meklis; and her brothers, Thomas N. Gekas and Peter N. Gekas.

Vasiliki is survived by her daughter, Helen Meklis; her son, Nicholas Meklis and daughter-in-law, Christina Meklis; her dear friend, Karen Hudson; five grandchildren, Mackenzie, Dorion, Gabrial, Nikki, and Spiros Meklis; her step-grandchild, George Keller; two great grandchildren, Camden and Eleni Meklis; and her brother, George N. Gekas.

A viewing will begin at 10:00 am Monday, October 21, 2019 at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 1000 Yverdon Drive, Camp Hill. A Trisagion Service will begin at 11:00 am and immediately following will be the Funeral Service at Holy Trinity Cathedral. Burial will be in East Harrisburg Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 1000 Yverdon Drive, Camp Hill, PA 17011.
