Born on May 18, 1933, in Pittsburgh, PA, to the late Walter and Frances (Urgitus) Hagerich.
He is preceded in passing by his wife Loni of 72 years, just two weeks ago; as well as his son David Hagerich; and all of his siblings, Robert, Theora and Harry Walter.
Surviving are his sons, Donald (Pamela) and Dennis Hagerich; 3 grandson’s Tim, Tony and Drew; and his 5 great grandchildren, Lily, Isla, River, Charlee and Henry; along with many nieces and nephews.
Harry was a veteran of the United States Army. He worked for the H.J. Heinz Co. in Pittsburgh, and in 1970, moved his family to Camp Hill, PA to open and manage a distribution center for Heinz. In his later years he worked at Boscovs in Camp Hill which he truly enjoyed. He was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Camp Hill, PA, where he was the first eucharistic minister for the parish. He was also an usher, and helped count the money after mass for many years.
Back in the day, Harry was the life of the party or picnic. He was larger than life, with a big personality and an even bigger sense of humor.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday March, 11, 2026 from 6:00-8:00pm at Neill Funeral Home; 3401 Market Street, Camp Hill, PA 17011; with a service to take place at 7:30pm.
Burial will follow the next day at 11:00am at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the American Alzheimer’s Association.
