

Born on May 11, 1945 in Hershey, PA to the late Herman P. and Ruth F. (Kohr) Hoover.
He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Virginia P. (Miller) Hoover; sons, Gregory (Jen) Hoover) and Adam (Kristin) Hoover; daughter, Tammi Tulloch; grandchildren, Morgan, Rebecca, Ashleigh, Katie, Sara, Jonathan, Chelsea, Samantha, Keith and Alexander; 7 great grandchildren; and his brother, Kenneth Hoover.
Bill graduated from Hershey High School, and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Salem College in West Virginia. After graduating from college, he served four years in the Air Force, including one year in Vietnam.
He loved landscaping. He spent most of his weekends working in the yard, making sure that any home he owned was always beautifully landscaped and maintained.
After retiring as a pharmaceutical representative, Bill and Ginny traveled as much as they could visiting many countries around the world. His family was most important to him. He loved and was deeply proud of his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Nothing made him happier or more content than being surrounded by his family right up to the end.
A funeral service will take place on Monday, April 6, 2026 at 11:30am at Liberti Church; 515 S 32nd St, Camp Hill, PA 17011. Visitation will take place from 10:30-11:30am. Burial will be at 2:00pm at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
