Constance "Connie" Yvonne Boutilier

Born on January 18, 1950, in Brantford, Ontario, Connie lived a life overflowing with love, creativity, and devotion to those she held dear. She was known for her kind heart, gentle spirit, and the warmth which she shared with everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Connie was a passionate artist whose talent and creativity was expressed through her paintings and illustrations. Connie also had a deep love for gardening and found joy in nurturing beautiful flowers and greenery.

This same nurturing spirit was most clearly displayed in her relationships with people and animals. After moving to Campbell River with her husband in 1971, she established Tiny Tot Daycare where she shared her generosity and kindness with countless children over many years. Throughout her lifetime, Connie treasured the companionship of her many beloved “fur babies”. Above all, Connie cherished time with family. Her love was a blessing and inspiration to all that have the pleasure of calling her “Wife”, “Sister”, “Nana”, “Aunt”or “Mom”.

Connie leaves behind her loving husband of 57 years, Joe; her daughter, Michelle and son-in-law, Dave; grandson, Jared; grandson, Trevor, and his wife, Rebecca; grandson, Kyle, and his wife, Emma, who are expecting Connie's first great-grandchild; sister, Vickie, and brother-in law Cliff; brother, Brad, and sister-in-law Marilyn; brother, Keith; Sister-in-law Linda and many nieces and nephews.

Connie was predeceased by her mother, llene; her father, Don; and her brother, Donny.

The family wishes to express a heartfelt thank you to all the nurses and support staff of floor 3A of the Campbell River Hospital for their hard work and care of Connie during her final months.

While our hearts are heavy with her loss, we find comfort in the treasured memories we have of time spent with Connie. All who knew her have been, and will continue to be, inspired by her unwavering love, kindness, and generosity.

At Connie's request, there will be no funeral service at this time.

She will be deeply missed and remembered forever.
