John passed away suddenly on September 25, 2011 at the age of 52 years. He will be sadly missed by his six children Cameron, Brandon, Matthew, Darryl, Kristel and Amberley; and by his grandson Johnny. John also leaves to mourn his mother Bev Hunter; his siblings Tim, Tina, Debbie (Wayne Carmichael), Heather (Fabian Stratton) and Jim; his nieces and nephews Jason, Tabitha, Candice, Carlin and Tennaya; as well as his 3 great-nieces and 1 great-nephew.
Family and friends are invited to a Visitation on Wednesday October 5, 2011 from 7-9 pm at Sutton’s Campbell River Funeral Home, 502 South Dogwood Street. A Celebration of John’s Life will be held on Thursday October 6th at 1 pm in the Funeral Home Chapel, followed by interment in the Courtenay Civic Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 255 - 2000 Island Highway, North Nanaimo, BC V9S 5W3 would be appreciated by the family.
