Marion's roots remained an important part of who she was throughout her life.
Though she later resided in Campbell River British Columbia her connections to Alberta and the family and friends she built there remained strong .
Marion will be remembered for her strength,kindness,sense of humour and her deep love for family .She had a way of making people feel welcomed and loved .Always had the coffee pot on and a listening ear.
Marion worked for the Government of Canada for 36 years enjoying various positions finishing with the Department of Supplies and Services .
She will be deeply missed by her daughter Brenda her Grandchildren Trevor (Cara ) Kevin and Tyler .Along with Great grandchildren Lainey, Austin and Levy.
Marion is lovingly remembered by her friends and family in both Alberta and British Columbia .Her special companion Phillip and all those lives she touched.
In keeping with Marion's wishes a private family service will be held in Alberta .
