Riley Denver Paul Browne Atkinson

Riley lived life to the fullest. In just 30 years, he packed more adventure, love, and unforgettable memories into his life than most do in a lifetime.

A dedicated helicopter pilot, Riley found his true passion in flying and experienced the beauty of British Columbia from a unique perspective. Outside of work, he loved spending time outdoors, especially fishing and hunting. Family was the heart of Riley's life. He treasured time with his parents, brothers, and beloved nieces and nephews.

Riley is lovingly remembered by his partner Kristin Johnson; parents Lana and Andrew Browne; his brothers Dyllan (Kelly) Browne and Kenton (Heather) Browne; his beloved nieces and nephews, Lila, Owen, Addyson, Weston and Joie; his Godsons Thomas and Lucas; his grandparents; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, friends, and colleagues who will miss him dearly.

Though Riley's life was far too short, the impact he made will last a lifetime. He will be remembered for his generous heart, his unmistakable laugh, his willingness to help anyone who needed him, and the unconditional love he gave so freely to those around him. He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.

A celebration of Riley's life will be held on August 1, 2026 at 1:00PM at the Broughton Curling Club. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Sunset Elementary School Focus Room Program for vulnerable children.
