Born in Victoria, BC on July 26th, 1949, Bob will be lovingly remembered for his kind heart, community spirit, and lifelong love of sports.
Bob is survived by his beloved wife, Sheryl; his children Bryce (Amy) and Kristi; and his cherished grandchildren Kama, Ivy, and Faye. He also leaves behind his siblings Diane Sollis and Bill Walker.
Bob was deeply involved in his community through sports. He enjoyed playing Old Timers Hockey, fastball, and slo-pitch, and dedicated many years to coaching minor hockey, minor softball, and slo-pitch for both his son and daughter. He also spent countless hours umpiring slo-pitch games, always encouraging teamwork, sportsmanship, and fun.
Bob will be remembered for his warmth, generosity, and the many lives he touched both on and off the field. He will be greatly missed by family, friends, teammates, and all who knew him.
