Shawn Christopher Balla

Shawn was born on November 25, 1983 in Brampton, Ontario to Mick (Nicolas) Balla and Darlene Green. Shawn had a passion and talent for painting, glass etching and airbrushing Shawn loved to create and present his family and friends with much of the artwork he created.

Shawn will be deeply and sadly missed by his father Mick (Nicolas) Balla (Margaret) and is predeceased by his mother Dalene Green. His will also be missed by his children Jenaca Amber Harvey-Balla and Dalan Despres. His brother Mickey Balla and sisters Chantel Balla (David Wallace) and Ashley Minns (Tammy Minns and his nephew Brody Balla, along with aunts and uncles and many family and friends far and wide.

There will be a celebration of life for Shan at the Alano Club, Campbell River for his extended family and friends in Campbell River on November 27, 2026 at 1:30 pm. Please come "Clean and Dry".

Also, his daughter will be taking his ashes to Ontario in the summer of 2027 to have a celebration of Life with many family and friends there. Details of this will be posted at a later date. We will ensure that notification is posted for all.

Shawn's words:

I made some amazing relationships with amazing people that I cherish dearly. I hitchhiked the whole country when I was 18 years old. I have created so many beautiful pieces of art. I learned how to tattoo, I've been to many festivals and amazing concerts and Crowd Surfed a Half a Million People. I learned to to Airbrush and Glass engraving with a dremel.
