It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Stuart Richard Neill on March 3, 2024 at The Campbell River Hospital in British Columbia. Son of the late Robert and June (nee Martin) Neill of Sherbrooke, Quebec. He leaves in mourning his wife Caroline Carragher Neill and his two brothers Robert Neill (Lynne Julien) and Peter Neill (Darlene), nieces and nephews, and many friends. Stuart owned and operated the largest painting company in Campbell River. He was a beacon of “never give up” especially when he later suffered a major stroke; and then, despite his disabilities, he started another company where he accompanied seniors and less privileged people to outings and doctors’ appointments. Stuart was a kind and generous man. Always thinking of others, always wanting to help. He valued his relationships with the people he worked with and those he met along the way. Stu battled brain cancer bravely for months. He passed away, having been surrounded by loved ones. With all our love and until we meet again, we will miss you immensely. May you enjoy your adventures in the next realm and the joyful reunion you will have with loved ones who have passed before you. With love, Always and Forever. Caroline xox
A celebration of life will take place in July 2024 in North Hatley, Quebec.
