Bertha (Savoie) Roy, 106, of Moncton passed away on Friday, August 14, 2020, at The Moncton Hospital. Born in Balmoral, NB, on August 24, 1913, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Regina (Bernard) Savoie. Bertha dedicated her life to her husband and family. She will be dearly missed by her loving children: Jean-Guy Roy (Adelia), Marcella Wilson (Eric), M. Carmelle Cochrane (Ken), Marie-Reine Caissie (Louis), Jacques Roy (Joan), and Michel Roy; her 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Thomas in 1971, her daughter M. Raymonde in 2015, and her 3 sisters and 10 brothers. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. The funeral mass will be celebrated from the Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Catholic Church in Campbellton on August 21 at 11 am. The interment will take place in Balmoral Cemetery, Balmoral, NB.
