Betty was born on June 8th, 1942, in Dawsonville NB to the late Lydia Victoria (Connors) Hennigar and the late Vetal Ephriam Hennigar.
Betty worked for Red Path Sugar in Montreal as a young girl, then returned to NB to be a wife and a mother where she remained a care giver to all both professionally and for her family. She volunteered for many years feeding the less fortunate with her amazing cooking at our local soup kitchen, she enjoyed playing cards and knitting, especially baking bread and cookies.
She loved nothing more than to be surrounded by her family and friends and most of all she cherished her grandchildren’s and great-grandchildren’s
She is survived by her only daughter Lisa Ouellette, her son-in-law John Boudreau, her grandchildrens; Sky Collin, Leah Boudreau, Sumera Boudreau, Tori Boudreau, Janice Boudreau, Crystal Boudreau, Chase Boudreau and great-grandchildrens; Declan Boudreau, Carson Doucet, Emmett Boudreau, Kayson Boudreau, Bentley Boudreau and the newest addition on the way. Many nieces and nephews, and her two remaining sisters; Elizabeth Hennigar of Montreal and Lee Thériault of Kedgwick, NB.
Besides her parents Lydia and Vetal Hennigar, her husband Adrien Ouellette, she was predeceased by a son she lost to miscarridge in the late 70’s, also by her brothers; Donald Hennigar (Fredericton), William Scott Hennigar (Campbellton), her sisters; Dorothy Weedon (Ontario), France Hennigar (Campbellton), Shirley Hennigar (Sudbury, Ont).
A Funeral Service will be held at savoie Funeral Home on Thursday, September 24, 2026 at 11am.
Visitations will be held at Savoie's funeral Home, 47 Alexander St, Campbellton on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at 9 am.
