Mr. Clarence David Gillis, of Campbellton, 71, passed away at the Campbellton Regional Hospital, on Friday, January 21, 2011. He was the son of the late Grace (nee: Coffin) and the late James Gillis.
He will be sadly missed by his sister Ada Coffin (Carter) of Gaspe, Qc.; his brothers: Frank of Lake George, N.B., Lloyd of Campbellton and Charles (Elizabeth Ann) of Runnymede, Matapedia, Qc. He is also survived by his residence friends: George, Billy, Dany, Raymond, T. Paul, Leopold, Gordie, Scott, Chris and Jean-Marc; also by some nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a sister Alice and 2 brothers: Freeman & John Robert (Jackie).
The funeral mass was held on Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at Savoie Funeral Home, Campbellton, officiated by Reverend Donald Thompson with burial in the Dawsonville Cemetery in the spring.
