

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on Friday, October 31, 2025 at the age of 69, Mr. Claude Oliva Maltais ( mossie) husband of the late Mona (Demsey) Maltais.
He was born on June 3, 1956, in Campbellton, NB to the late Oliva Maltais and the late Bernice Steeves.
Claude was a very hard-working man; he helped anyone who would ask.
He had a very kind and gentle heart; his family was of great importance to him. He also helped a lot of people who were on the street, gave them a roof over their heads until they were ready to leave. He also had a great love for animals. Claude volunteered his time also at the R.C.V.A.A.
He was a well-respected man. He loved taking walks and dropping by Tim Hortons to chat with friends while drinking his tea.
Rest well, we all love you and miss you and will see you again.

He is survived by his brothers and sisters; Mary Ann Savoie Maltais (Edward), Connie Firth (late Ronald Firth), Debbie Maltais, Raymond Maltais, Jenny Maltais, Peter Maltais and Joseph Maltais (Jocelyn).
He is also survived by his nieces and nephews; Jennifer, Wilfred, Clement, Karlene, Diane, Peter, Carine, Regis, Michael, Kevin, Julie, Mode, Samantha, Josee and Colton.
He was predeceased by his brother Gilbert (Gibby) and his sister Claudia.
At the request of Mr. Maltais there will be no visitation and there will be a graveside service at a later date.
