Clifford Maltais

Wednesday, March 30th, 2016 at the Campbellton Regional Hospital at the age of 84, passed away Mr. Clifford Maltais of the Val d’Amour, husband of Mrs. Jeannine (Lurette) Maltais.  He was the son of the late Rose-Anna (Letourneau) and the late Alexandre Maltais.

Besides his wife Jeannine, he will be sadly missed by his children: Gaston of Val d’Amour, Ghislain (Cecile Roy) of Val d’Amour, Lisianne (Roger Maltais) of Val d’Amour, Lambert (Flavie Lagace) of Val d’Amour, Vincent of Val d’Amour & Marie-Josee (Jeremy Irvine) of Flatlands; his grandchildren : Marie-Chantal, Yves, Jeremie, Marie-Claude, Michaël, Anthony, Naomie, Francis, Brianna & Anika; her great-grandchildren : Alexandre, Amelianne, Charlene & Julien; his sister Corinne Essiembre (Edgar) of  Eel River Crossing; his brother Lorenzo Maltais (Donalda) of Val d’Amour and a very special friend to the family Francine Cyr of Val d'Amour also by many members of the Lurette family, nieces, nephews and friends. 

He was predeceased by his parents, his sons: Meryl & Gervais, his grandson Maxime, his brothers: Theophile, Leo, Romeo, Fabien, Sylvio & Jean and his sisters: Rose, Marie-Reine, Mabelle & Victoria.

The funeral mass will be held on Monday, April 4th, 2016 at 11 am in the Our Lady of Sacred Heart Church, Val d’Amour followed immediately with a gathering/lunch in the basement of the church.  Respecting Mr. Maltais wishes, there will be no visitation at the funeral home.  A donation to the Friends of Healthcare Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
