

Born on October 31, 1961, in Montreal, Quebec, Dorothy lived a life filled with love, laughter and devotion to her family. She was known for her caring heart, fun-loving personality, and hands-on approach to life. Whether as a loving mother, devoted stepmother, caring sister, or cherished friend, Dorothy always made those around her feel welcomed and loved.
Dorothy worked as a bartender for many years, where her warm smile, quick wit, and friendly nature earned her many lasting friendships.
She was predeceased by her beloved parents; Joan Marjorie Gallant and Donald Mansfield Connors aka John Walter Collins, her sister Deborahann Collins and her beloved daughter Samantha Collins, whom she now rests with in peace.
Dorothy is lovingly remembered by her sister, Darlene Evelyn Collins, her brother Richard Conners her children; William Fowlie and Nicole Veronica Fowlie, her fiancé Devlin Rawley, her stepchildren’s; Heidi, Charlene and Robert, and her treasured grandchildren’s; Christian Collins, Nathan Smith and Aiden Borbely. Long time companion of Frank Lafleur. She also leaves behind many extended family members and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory.
Dorothy’s kindness, generosity, laughter and unconditional love will never be forgotten. Though she is no longer with us, her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.
A Graveside Service will be held at Rural Cemetery on Thursday, August 6, 2026 at 11:30 am.
