Wednesday, January 6th, 2016 at the his residence of Eel River Crossing, at the age of 79, passed away Mr. Edgar B. "Maxi" Savoie, husband of Mrs. Yvonne (Doucet) Savoie. He was the son of the late Léonie (Leclair) and the late Bélonie Savoie.
Besides his wife, Yvonne, he will be sadly missed by his son Hermel of Eel River Crossing; his daughter Suzanne Nadeau (Romain Audet) of Campbellton; his grandchildren: Renelle (Yannick) of Balmoral, Mélanie (Jean-René) of Quebec, Samuel of Nouvelle and Olivia of Nouvelle; his great granddaughters : Maya and Éloïse; his brother Adélard (Simonne)of Bathurst; his sisters: Dora of Eel River Crossing, Fernande of Eel River Crossing, Marie (Ben Savoie) of Dalhousie, Jeannette of Campbellton and Rosa of Eel River Crossing also by nieces, nephews and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents, his brothers: John, Joseph & Valmond and his sister Germaine.
The funeral mass will be held on Monday, January 11th at 4pm in the Holy Trinity Church, Eel River crossing. At the request of the family, there will be no visitation at the funeral home. A donation to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
