Monday, November 26th, 2018 at the Campbellton Regional Hospital, at the age of 77, passed away Mr. Edgar J. Savoie (Gougoune) of Eel River Crossing, husband of Mrs. Therese (born Essiembre) Savoie. He was the son of the late Lumina (born Arseneault) and the late Joseph L. Savoie.
Besides his wife Therese, he will be sadly missed by his children: Denis (Carole Joncas) of Eel River Crossing, Denise (Leonard LaPointe) of Eel River Crossing, Pierre (Claudine Gagné) of Matapedia and Julie (Jeff Savard) of St-Maure; his grandchildren : Gaby, Mathieu, Marika, Remi, Joey, Marie-Pier, Tomy and to come Laureanne; his sister Dorina Allard of Balmoral and his brothers: Jules Savoie (Isabelle Marcoux) of Balmoral and Willie ‘Bello’ Savoie (Linda Michaud) of Campbellton also by many nieces, nephews, members of the Essiembre family and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents and his sisters: Antoinette & Lydia.
The funeral mass will be held as a private celebration for family only.
