Edouard Louis Fournier

Né à Eel River Crossing, le 26 mars 1937, il était le fils de feu Victor Fournier et de feu Esther (McIntyre) Fournier.

Edouard a travaillé dans le système scolaire pendant près de 40 ans. Il a terminé sa carrière en étant le directeur de l’Académie Notre-Dame de Dalhousie.

Il laisse dans le deuil ses deux filles; Nathalie (André) et Danika et leur mère Mona (Jean), ses petits-fils; Dominick (Julie), Pascal (Naomi) et Jonah ainsi que ses deux arrière-petits-enfants; Louis et Ella.

Il était le frère de feu Esther (feu Ernest), feu Yvon (feu Henriette), Arthur (feu Jean), feu Gertrude (feu Ronald), Léon (Claudette), Albénie (Alice), feu Robert (Ruby) et Pierrette.

La famille tient à remercier chaleureusement le personnel de l’Hôpital Régional de Campbellton pour les soins attentionnés et le soutient offert tout au long de cette épreuve.

Les funérailles auront lieu en l'Église Sainte Trinité d'Eel River Crossing, mercredi, 29 juillet 2026 à 15h00.

La famille accueillera parents et amis au Salon Funéraire Savoie de Eel River Crossing, mercredi, 29 juillet 2026 de 13h00 jusqu’au départ pour les funérailles.

He passed away at Campbellton Regional Hospital on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at the age of 89. Mr. Edouard Fournier of Eel River Crossing.

Born in Eel River Crossing on March 26, 1937, he was the son of the late Victor Fournier and the late Esther (McIntyre) Fournier.

Edouard worked in the school system for nearly 40 years. He ended his career as principal of Académie Notre-Dame de Dalhousie.

He is survived by his two daughters, Nathalie (André) and Danika, and their mother, Mona (Jean); his grandsons, Dominick (Julie), Pascal (Naomi), and Jonah; and his two great-grandchildren, Louis and Ella.

He was the brother of the late Esther (late Ernest), the late Yvon (late Henriette), Arthur (late Jean), the late Gertrude (late Ronald), Léon (Claudette), Albénie (Alice), the late Robert (Ruby), and Pierrette.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff at Campbellton Regional Hospital for the attentive care and support provided throughout this difficult time.

The funeral will be held at St-Trinity Church in Eel River Crossing on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at 3:00 p.m.

The family will welcome relatives and friends at the Savoie Funeral Home in Eel River Crossing on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. until the departure for the funeral.
