At his residence on Saturday, January 15, 2011 at the age of 83, passed away Mr. John Alexander Vicaire of Listuguj, Qc., husband of the late Rebecca Jerome. Born in Listuguj, he was the son of the late Annie (Thibodeau) and late Alexander Vicaire.
He will be sadly missed by his sister Claire Vicaire-Tupper of Maine, USA, his 9 nieces & 14 nephews and by many friends.
He was predeceased by his wife Rebecca, his brother Heldon, his sisters: Alma, Benadict, Mary Ann, Margaret & Amanda.
The funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at 3 pm in the Sainte Anne Church, Listuguj and will be officiated by Father E. Landry with burial in the parish cemetery in the spring. Visitation for Mr. Vicaire will be held on Tuesday, January 18, 2011 from 2 - 4 pm and 7 - 9 pm at the funeral home.
