

Lamkey was born on July 20, 1944, in Glencoe, NB to the late Lidia (Keys) Hunter and the late Lamkey Hunter.
Lamkey was a proud, inviting and kind, larger than life man who loved and cherished his family and granddaughter above all else. Lamkey worked as a fishing warden until his retirement, and true to his nature as a long-standing part of the local community you could often see him out and about supporting many of the local events. Such as river days, steak suppers, and local yard sales.
Lamkey was the youngest of 9 children. He is survived by his 3 boys Rusty, Jody (Tanya) and Travis (Crystal). He is also survived by his Granddaughter Makayla; besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife of 44 years Judy and 7 of his elder siblings.
A Grave Side Service for Lamkey will be held at the Robinsonville Cemetery in Robinsonville NB on Saturday July 11, 2026, at 1:00 pm
A small gathering will be held at the firehall following the service.
As per Lamkeys’ wishes, there will be no visitations, or viewing.
