Friday, January 17th, 2014 at the Campbellton Regional Hospital, at the age of 54, passed away Mrs. Micheline Savoie of Val d’Amour, wife of Mr. Gilles Savoie. She was the daughter of Mrs. Bertha (Johnson) and the late Leopold Raymond.
She will be sadly missed by her husband, Gilles of Val d’Amour; her children: Melanie Savoie (Danny Pitre) of Tide Head & François Savoie (Rebecca Arsenault) of Dieppe; her grandchildren : Nathan & Audree Pitre; her mother Mrs. Bertha Raymond of Val d’Amour; her sisters & brothers: Jean-Claude of Vancouver, Florent (Dale Barthe) of Malauze, Monelle (Jean Perron) of Val d’Amour, Carmelle (Raymond Roy) of Maltais & Gaetane (Keith White) of Campbellton also by many nieces, nephews, members of the Savoie family and many friends.
She was predeceased by her father, Leopold.
The funeral mass will be held on Monday, January 20th, 2014 at 4 pm in the Our Lady of Sacred Heart Church, Val d’Amour. Visitations will be held at Savoie Funeral Home, Campbellton on Sunday from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. A donation to the Tree of Hope Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
