

Tuesday, February 2nd, 2021 at the Campbellton Regional Hospital, at the age of 82, passed away Mr. Murray Carrier of Atholville, husband of Mrs. Rhoda Carrier. He was the son of the late Eva (born Chamberlain) and the late Edward Carrier.
He will be sadly missed by his wife Rhoda and her son Kenneth (Beth); his children: Claudette (Dave Odrowski) of Whites Lake, NS, Nicole (Danny MacDonald) of Moncton, Gisèle (Jean-Daniel Lanctin) of Candiac, QC, Joanne Carrier (late Robert Bellefleur) of Atholville and Gerald Carrier (Janet) of Atholville and 7 grandchildren: Dillon, Charles, Michel, Natasha, Julie, Benjamin and Vanessa; 7 great grandchildren, also by many members of the Carson family, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Murray graduated from Maritime Forest Ranger School in 1957 and worked for the Department of Natural Resources for 37 years.
He was predeceased by his first wife, Jeanne D’Arc Rail, his parents, his brothers: John, Leo, Guy, Walter, Irvine, his sister Opal and his son-in-law Robert Bellefleur.
Mr. Murray Carrier will rest at Savoie Funeral Home, situated at 47 Alexander St., Campbellton on Saturday evening (Feb. 6, 2021) from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Another visitation and funeral will be held later this summer. A donation to the MS Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
