Olivar Soucy

Sunday, April 10th, 2022, at the Campbellton Regional Hospital, at the age of 79, passed away Mr. Olivar Soucy of Eel River Crossing, husband of Mrs. Rosa (born Audet) Soucy.  He was the son of the late Clémence (born Perron) and the late Albert Soucy.  

Besides his wife Rosa, he will be sadly missed by his children: Luc (Gilberte Pitre) of Eel River Crossing and Gaétane (Réal Levesque) of Eel River Crossing; his grandchildren :  Anabel (Joey) and Jenny (Patrick); his great grandchildren : Audrey, Félix, Zack and Samuel; his brothers and sisters : Elmire (Charles-Auguste) of St-Arthur, Ovila (Aline) of Blair Athol, Germain (Anita) of Causapscal, Jeanne-Mance (Roger) of St-Isidore, Albert (Francine) of Blair Athol, Arthémise (Remi) of Pointe-au-Père, Gisèle (Jean-Claude Girard) of Pointe-à-la-Croix, and Claude (Gisèle) of Moncton also by many members of the Audet family, nieces, nephews, and friends.

He was predeceased by his parents, his sister Oliva, and his brother Archille.

Funeral mass will be held at the Ste-Trinité Church, Eel River Crossing, on Tuesday, April 19th at 4:00 pm. Respecting Mr. Olivar Soucy’s wishes, there will be no visitation at the funeral home. A donation to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
