Robert McLellan

Robert eventually settled with his family in Pointe-à-la-Garde, Qc, where he lived until his accidental passing at the age of 75 on August 8, 2025.

After completing his studies, Robert dedicated 35 years to teaching English at École des Métiers in Bonaventure and École Des Deux-Rivières, retiring in 2005.

Yet, his passion for teaching extended far beyond the classroom. Answering a higher calling, Robert devoted himself to sharing the Gospel, living out his faith and hope in the Lord God, his Savior Jesus Christ, guided by the Holy Spirit.

In May 2011, he answered God’s call to serve as lead pastor at Église Baptiste Chaleur in Atholville, a role he held faithfully until his passing.

A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather, he is survived by his beloved wife of over 46 years, Annette Henry-McLellan; his five children Sarah (Matt Leblanc), Rachel (Tarek Foley), Kevin (Chelsey), Rebekah (Daniel Reda), and Ruth (Brandon Crook), his 15 grandchildren: Jacob, Anna, Chelsey, Angelie, Chloe, Terrence, Calum, Mila, Brooks, Ava, Samuel, Boston, Nora, June and Quade; his great-grandchildren; Katie, Claire, Emma, and Bethany; his loving sister Jean, aunt Peggy, stepfather Eric, brother Erwin, and sisters Karen, Kim, Katherine, and Krista.

He was preceded in death by his son, baby James; his father, Russell; mother, Nora; and brother, Ralph.

Visitation will take place at Savoie Funeral Home, 47 Alexander St, Campbellton, NB, on Thursday, August 14, 2025, during the following hours: 2:00-4:00 PM and 7:00-9:00 PM, NB time.

Friday, August 15, 2025, a viewing will be held at First Baptist Church, 18 Andrew Church, from 10:00-11:00 AM, followed by the funeral service at 11:00 AM, also in NB time.

In memory of Robert’s profound involvement and impact with Église Baptiste Chaleur, the McLellan family has requested that donations be made to the church in lieu of flowers. Email for transfer: [email protected]

Né le 30 avril 1950 à Montréal, au Québec, Robert Warren McLellan a grandi à Caplan, au Québec, auprès de son père pieux et aimant, Russel Warren McLellan, jusqu'au décès de ce dernier en août 1973.

Robert, c'est finalement installé avec sa famille à Pointe-à-la-Garde, au Québec, où il a vécu jusqu'à son décès accidentel à l'âge de 75 ans, le 8 août 2025.

Après avoir terminé ses études, Robert a consacré 35 ans à l'enseignement de l'anglais à l'École des Métiers de Bonaventure et à l'École Des Deux-Rivières, avant de prendre sa retraite en 2005.

Cependant, sa passion pour l'enseignement s'étendait bien au-delà de la salle de classe.

Répondant à un appel supérieur, Robert s'est consacré à partager l'Évangile, vivant sa foi et son espérance en Dieu, son Sauveur Jésus-Christ, guidé par le Saint-Esprit.

En mai 2011, il a répondu à l'appel de Dieu pour servir en tant que pasteur principal à l'Église Baptiste Chaleur à Atholville, un rôle qu'il a fidèlement assumé jusqu'à son décès.

Époux, père, grand-père et arrière-grand-père dévoué, il laisse dans le deuil son épouse bien-aimée depuis plus de 46 ans, Annette Henry-McLellan; ses cinq enfants; Sarah (Matt Leblanc), Rachel (Tarek Foley), Kevin (Chelsey), Rebekah (Daniel Reda) et Ruth (Brandon Crook), ses 15 petits-enfants; Jacob, Anna, Chelsey, Angelie, Chloe, Terrence, Calum, Mila, Brooks, Ava, Samuel, Boston, Nora, June et Quade, ses arrière-petits-enfants; Katie, Claire, Emma et Bethany. Sa sœur bien-aimée Jean, sa tante Peggy, son beau-père Eric, son frère Erwin, ses sœurs Karen, Kim, Katherine et Krista.

Il a été précédé dans la mort par son fils, le petit James, son père, Russell, sa mère Nora et son frère Ralph.

Les visites auront lieu au salon funéraire Savoie, situé au 47, rue Alexander, à Campbellton, le jeudi 14 août 2025, aux heures suivantes : de 14 h à 16 h et de 19 h à 21 h, heure du Nouveau-Brunswick.

Le vendredi 15 août 2025, les visites auront lieu à la First Baptist Church, 18 Andrew Church, de 10 h à 11 h, suivies du service funéraire à 11 h, également à l'heure du Nouveau-Brunswick.
