Thérèse Melanson

Sunday, November 28th, 2021, at the age of 74, passed away Mrs. Thérèse (born Diotte) Melanson of the Darlington Manor and formerly of St. Maure, wife of the late Jean Melanson. She was the daughter of the late Marie-Anne Diotte and the late Albert Diotte. 

She will be sadly missed by her sons: Gilles (Kathleen Vienneau) of Eel River Dundee and Luc (Charline Babineau) of Scoudouc; her granddaughter Solita Davidson of Québec; her sisters and brothers: Bertha (Théo Levesque) of Balmoral, Louis Diotte (Rose-Marie Leclair) of Darlington, Claude Diotte of Eel River Dundee, Rhéal Diotte (Lilianne Dubé) of Atholville and Yvonne Diotte (Serge Bisson) of Shédiac also by many members of the Melanson family, nieces, nephews, and friends. 

She was predeceased by her husband Jean, her parents, and her sisters:  Diane Desrosiers and Lorraine Diotte.

Funeral mass will be held in the St-Benoit Church, Balmoral, on Thursday, November 2nd at 4:00 pm. Mrs. Thérèse Melanson will rest at Savoie Parlor, situated at 10 Church St., Eel River Crossing, on Thursday from 2 pm till time of funeral.  Due to current Covid regulations anyone attending visitations at the parlor, or the funeral service must show proof of Double Vaccination.
