We're so glad that you are our loving Father, Papa! You're a Father who's always there, a provider for his family, a faithful and family man. You love Mama and us no matter what. We really love you, Papa. We learn from you when you teach us and when we watch you do things. We're thankful and grateful that we have you ---a real father, loving, responsible, trustworthy, and a great role model. We've grown up with the values you taught us and the love you gave us. Hans Bernard Sumampouw, 86 died Tuesday, December 2, 2014, with his family by his side at West Hills Hospital, Southern California.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 13, 2014 @ Gates, Kingsley & Gates Praiswater Chapel, Canoga Park, CA. A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 13, 2014 @ Oakwood Memorial Park, Chatsworth, CA.

He was born June 3, 1928, in Surabaya, Indonesia, to Joram and Marie Sumampouw. He married Maria Jeane Gerungan on March 31,1960 who died in November 29, 2012.

He worked many years for Bata Shoe Company, Jakarta, and also for Summa Bank, and ABN-Amro Bank.

He was an active member of the Philadelphia Presbyterian Church, Jakarta, until 2007 and then Journey of Faith Fellowship Church, Los Angeles since 2007 until his passing away.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Ria Sumampouw.

Hans leaves his loving memories to be cherished by his daughter Marcia Sumampouw and her husband Ragnar Sitompul; daughter Karin Sumampouw; grandsons Senna Harjasa and Harsa Aditya and their father Wira Prahara
