John Ed, its Jay.  Just want to let you know I still think about you every day. I finally broke out one of your rods and took it for a cast or two-still catches fish so it's now with me on the water all the time. I can't begin to tell you how much I still miss you, especially on the water. I can't pull up to any spot without grinning cuz there's always a story behind each spot. I hope you are behaving yourself up there and leaving some fish for the new comers. Have you run into Marley, Trask, Shepard, Wong, Elshere or any of our other fishing comrads? I still check in with Patti from time to time-she  lives in Kentucky,  works at the police dept & seems happy and  well.  Miss you, buddy.

so very sorry for your loss. John was a great friend to so many. I got my first bass boat from John was I was 17 and had know John and Jay for over 30 years. I will miss going to tournaments and see John ready to take our money with a smile.

RIP John. Didn't know you personally but did lose many a Night Tournament to you and your partner Jay Poore.

John was responsible for teaching me the ropes in the machinery business and was a fine customer of mine when I was selling him gold 20 years ago at his store, Jewelry Trading Post. He was always a staight shooter and said it like it was and had no pretenses. He lived life on his terms and was a expert in bass fishing and Haas machinery. I took care of John Ed the first years of his life and his Mother the last 
eight yrs of her life. I burried his Mother 3 yrs ago in Ky, per his wish.
I knew him as no one knew him. I Love you so much  Aunt Lee in Fla.
