Mary Agnes (Tina) Musilek

Tina was born in Rankin, PA on November 1st, 1929, the first child and only daughter of Cosimo B.

and Mary Theresa lannace. She had two younger brothers the late Angelo and the late Michael. The

three of them spent their childhood and early adult life together in and around Rankin near

Pittsburgh, PA. Being children of Italian immigrants Tina and her brothers had many colorful stories

that provided a lot of entertainment to those that heard them. Tina graduated from Rankin High

school in 1949 and shortly after was employed at Kopp Glass in Swissvale PA doing quality control

work.

While at Kopp Glass Tina had the good fortune to meet the late James (Jim) Edward Musilek who she

dated for several years and eventually married in April 1958. Immediately after being married they

lived in Rankin but soon moved to California initially settling in Reseda in 1961.ln 1966 they moved

to Canoga Park CA (West Hills) where she has lived since. Together they had three children, Mark

Musilek of Loveland Colorado, Karen Williamson of West Hills and James Musilek of Cary, NC as well

as seven grandchildren. When Jim passed away in 1993 they had been married for 36 years.

Tina's focus was on raising her family and enjoying her friends and neighbors. One of the things that

brought her true happiness was bingo, the times she spent with her friends at bingo were always

good. When her children were young, Tina had dinner on the table at 5:00 every night except

Friday's, that was her day off when she and Jim would carry on the tradition of a "date night". Tina

enjoyed traveling especially trips to Las Vegas and Laughlin, NV with many of her friends from the

Knights of Columbus and Our Lady of Valley Catholic Church. She and Jim also took several cruises

which she enjoyed very much and have provided many good memories.

The family would like to express their appreciation for the many friends and neighbors who cared for

Tina in her time of declining health - which made it possible for her to remain at home until she was

85 years old. We especially give thanks to Richard Tibbetts, Kris Stillwell and Rita Lovato for their

friendship and assistance to our family. We also thank Kelly Helmand and Maria Reyes for their love

and care giving.
