On Monday, January 11, 2021, we lost our beloved son, brother, father, uncle and friend Oscar W. Garcia. He is survived by his daughter, Yelena, his mother, Alma, his sister, Darcy, and nephews Richard and Jonathan.
Oscar was born February 20, 1971 in Los Angeles, California to Alma A. Garcia and Norberto P. Garcia (deceased). When Oscar spoke of his daughter, Yelena- his greatest masterpiece- his eyes would like up and when you saw the two of them together there was an equal amount of admiration between father and daughter. Oscar was also a father figure to Yelena’s sister, Jessica, and his nephews, Richard and Jonathan. Oscar had a love for his family and his favorite thing to do was spend time with them with good food and a lot of laughs. He was a talented graphic artist and an excellent salsa dancer. He will be missed dearly and always loved by many.
