Alan L. Ryter of Bolton, previously of Sharon, passed away unexpectedly on December 6, 2025, at 69 years of age. Son of the late Arline (Ezer) and Sidney Ryter. Loving husband of Andrea (Wolff) Ryter for 39 years. Beloved father of Jessica Ryter and Benjamin Ryter. Cherished grandfather of Madelyn and Alexandra Hodosh. Treasured brother of Jean Kaiser and uncle to five nieces and nephews.
Alan was born in Boston on December 12, 1955, and grew up in Framingham, MA. A veteran of the United States Army, he was a truck mechanic stationed in Darmstadt, Germany, during the Cold War. Alan attended WPI and studied Business Administration. For the last 23 years of his career, he worked in sales for Independent Pipe and Supply and took pride in contributing to building projects all over New England. He retired in 2023 and loved spending his winters in Florida. Alan was caring, loyal, and passionate about his family, his work, his country, and his sports teams.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Thursday, December 11, at 10 AM at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 475 Washington Street, Canton. Burial will take place at Sharon Memorial Park followed by a shiva at Temple Sinai in Sharon.
